For the first time ever, the Detroit Lions won on the road against the Washington Redskins. Matt Stafford threw for 385 yards and two touchdowns -- one to Calvin Johnson, another to rookie Joseph Fauria -- on the way to a 27-20 victory.
Johnson had 115 yards receiving, tying Herman Moore for the franchise record with 34 career 100-yard receiving games.
Nate Burleson led the Lions receivers with six catches for 116 yards.
Bad news -- defensive tackle Jason Jones ruptured his left patella tendon in the second quarter and is out for the year.
Nick Fairley left the game early with a knee injury.
Reggie Bush was inactive on Sunday.
Our ESPN 96.1 Lions insider, Chris McCosky from the Detroit News, will join Sean Baligian this afternoon after 3:00pm to give us an update.
