detroitnews.com says Drew Miller has signed a three year deal worth $4.05 million with the Red Wings.
This is the first player general manager Ken Holland can check off his list.
Miller has been a solid player for the Red Wings the past four years. He may not wow you with scoring goals or assists or making the big plays, but Miller will be a role player that knows his job and knows how to get it done.
Miller was going to be a potential unrestricted free agent.
detroitnews.com says Miller and his agent, Jason Woolley, feel that the Wings and Miller are a good fit and they didn’t feel the need to change teams.
